New Service! Sculptural Face Lifting

I am thrilled to announce that I have a new service offering!! I’m now a certified practitioner of Sculptural Face Lifting Technique!

Praised by medical experts, leading estheticians and spa therapists around the globe, Sculptural Face Lifting technique has revolutionized the traditional approach to anti-aging. In an industry dominated by the use of various toxic injections and surgeries to delay or reverse the aging process, this treatment offers a holistic alternative to invasive lifting procedures without side effects and the risks of complications.

This amazing technique takes years off the face by combining Deep Tissue Massage, Lymphatic Drainage and Buccal Massage (which manipulates the muscles through the oral cavity from the inside of the mouth) to propel the internal resources of the body’s natural rejuvenation and recovery process. Results are seen after one session.. but cumulate over time and require 4-8 weekly sessions to achieve desired lasting results as well as monthly maintenance sessions to sustain them!

Come see what all the fuss is about! Online booking now available. Click here for more info and to see before/after photos, enjoy 10% off your first session and package rates are available. I am fully vaccinated, boosted and still following all my covid protocols!

Online Booking is Back

So excited to announce that my online booking site is back for all studio appointments!! No more back and forth texts trying to book in for a session, clients can now check my schedule, book one or multiple appointments and future dates! I will also have new and exciting services coming soon!

Super grateful that after a year and a half, my life is getting back to normal! Kids are finally back to school full time and I don’t have to share my treatment room with my husband who was teaching from home all last year. House calls will still need to be booked through me directly and will be available between 9:00 and 5:00pm only as I am no longer offering evening appointments.

Looking forward to seeing you soon! To schedule go to my Booking Page or click to BOOK NOW!

Self Care at Home

With Covid-19 threatening public health and forcing us all to stay indoors, self care and in home workouts are our new normal.  I wanted to share some of my favorite self care massage tools to help keep you feeling good during this time. These tools can be used anytime, over clothing and can be very effective!

The Foam Roller is my savior, it keeps my back and body flexible and free of tension. The PRO FOAM ROLLER is my favorite brand. For a great 5 minute foam rolling routine with Lauren Roxburgh to wake up your body! Click HERE

Massage guns have taken the world by storm in the last year with so many different brands hitting the market. After doing lots of research and trying different models I finally bought the KRAFT GUN and love it’s easy handling, powerful force, but quiet sound. For a great video to compare all the different models click HERE.

Massage balls are such a simple, but amazing tool for trigger point relief, especially for the back. You can use tennis balls if you have them or my favorite is Lacrosse Balls. The size and firmness of the lacrosse balls allows you to use your body weight to do the work. For a great instructional video click HERE!

In Light of Recent Events..

This is truly an unprecedented time in our lives with the threat of the Covid-19 virus spreading around the world. We are all in this together and I wanted to reassure you this too shall pass, but in the meantime I am here to be of service in any way that I can. With small children and older parents around I have been closely monitoring the CDC and the WHO for up to date information on how keep my clients, my family and myself safe.

I will be limiting my hours, but still taking clients as self care is crucial during this time, but I will keep you updated in the event that we start having cases in our area. As always, I will ensure that all my sheets and towels are fresh and my stones and caddy’s are sanitized after each use. In addition, I’ll confirm the morning of your appointment that my health and the health of my family are good. I will waive any fees in the event that you need to cancel or reschedule when not feeling well and I am asking all clients to leave shoes at the door and to wash hands before receiving any serivce..

I am here to help if you need anything.. don’t hesitate to reach out! Let’s all stay safe, healthy and positive!

Authentic Ayurveda with Rasa Veda Healing

One of my favorite local healers, the amazing Sheila Govindarajan founded Rasa Veda Healing in 2012 to share the ancient wisdom of Ayurvedic medicine (Ayurveda).
Originating in India over 3,000 years ago, Ayurveda is one of the world’s oldest holistic medicinal systems. Named from the Sanskrit word ‘science of life’, Ayurveda is based on the belief that all facets of life can impact your health.

Sheila’s practice at Rasa Veda always begins with an Ayurvedic consultation to determine your constitution and wellness goals. Her signature treatment is Abhyanga (90 min warm oil massage) followed by Shirodhara where warm oil is poured repeatedly and rhythmically on the center of your forehead. The experience is amazing, deeply meditative, relaxing and nurturing.

In addition, she creates amazing herbal medicated Abhyanga oils/salves, Ayurvedic herbal tonics, and custom blended aromatherapy oils. All the oils and herbs are organic, wildcrafted and from biodynamic farming techniques.

Sheila is available by appointment only, Rasa Veda Healing is located in Hancock Park. For more info or to schedule click HERE

Daily Meditation for Stress Relief

“A calm mind brings inner strength and self confidence, so that’s very important for good health.” – Dalai Lama

Although I was raised in the Jewish culture I have always been drawn to eastern philosophy, and the practice of meditation. Scientific studies have shown meditation to have so many benefits for your mental and emotional health. Especially these days with the nonstop bombardment of news, texts and tweets.. it’s so important take a minute to clear your head and get some peace of mind.

Here is a simple meditation exercise that I love and really helps with anxiety and stress. Find a quiet place, set a timer for 2 mins (or longer). Sit comfortably and close your eyes. Relax your body and take a few deep breaths. Think of a person or a place that you love, and smile.. Repeat daily!
